An efficient and professional repair to my wind-damaged fence.

Alan and Brian replaced broken and rotted posts on a 9-panel wind-damaged high wooden fence. Alan explained in detail how he suggested doing the job, retaining and reusing the undamaged fence panels.

From on-site examination through to completion and clearing up, the whole job was executed quickly, efficiently and professionally. From my own experience, I highly recommend Milan Fencing and Landscaping and would certainly use them again should the need arise.

The go-to fencing company in Oxford

I’m not in the habit of leaving reviews, but Milan Fencing are definitely worth recommending highly. This latest job for us was about 16m of close board fencing. Alan and Brian did an excellent job as usual – erecting high-quality fencing while taking care of the garden. From start to finish superbly professional, and we would have no hesitation in using them again.

It took a while for us to get a slot for a visit from the Milan fencing team, but it was worth the wait. Alan told us what we needed to do to prepare the site for them before hand so the installation could go smoothly (moved a couple of roses). We are really pleased with the quality of the fence installed and also amazed by how speedy the installation was once they arrived on site. We have a long garden (more than 30 mtrs) and it took them only two days to complete the job to a great standard. Would (possibly will) contract them again.

Milan have been a brilliant company to use for replacing our old fence and doing a small landscaping job. Unlike other Oxford fencing companies we approached, their communication from our initial inquiry was superb – timely and happy to help with any questions – part of the reason we went forward with their company. They quoted for the project on site (again other companies weren’t prepared to even do that) and had helpful suggestions about completing the job, including some cost saving elements which were appreciated. The work done looked fantastic when finished and was on time and as quoted. They are quite in demand (exacerbated due to Covid I believe) but we were happy to wait a few months for their availability. Would highly recommend.

Alan did a fantastic job – the fence is beautifully made, very sturdy but immediately looks part of the garden (rather than screaming new fence!). He was really accommodating on dates and worked very efficiently. They took great care not to damage any plants, and even managed to extricate a wisteria and a rather special tree from the fence and preserve them both (they are very happy on the new fence). He and his colleague were so friendly and a delight to deal with. I was surprised at how little time it took them and how reasonable the price was. I really couldn’t recommend them enough and I wouldn’t go to anybody else if I need fencing again.
